Your 6-Day Itinerary
Fly into Leh (or drive). Our representative will escort you to your hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization (altitude 11,500 ft). Light walk to Leh Market in the evening. Overnight in Leh.
After breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery – the largest in Ladakh. Later, drive to Magnetic Hill and the confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers.
Drive to Nubra Valley over Khardung La (18,380 ft). Arrive in Diskit, visit the giant Buddha statue and Diskit Monastery. In the evening, enjoy a double-humped camel safari among the sand dunes of Hunder.
Early morning drive to Pangong Tso (14,000 ft) via the scenic Shyok Valley. The journey takes approx 5-6 hours. Arrive at the famous blue lake. Spend the evening by the lake and overnight in a lakeside camp.
Wake up to a spectacular sunrise at Pangong. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La (17,590 ft), the third highest motorable pass. Arrive in Leh by evening.
Morning at leisure – last minute shopping for pashmina, apricots, and Tibetan handicrafts. Transfer to Leh Airport for your flight back home.
